I was back at Messiah College; I graduated from there in real life. However, in the dream it was my first day of class. I either forgot or just left my schedule behind in my dorm room, but either way, I thought I could get to right classes through reading the signs at the door.
Well, I was wrong. I walked into the building where my first class would be held. It was set up like a carnival. There were all sorts of rides all around. I discovered I had to walk into the rides to find the hallway with the classrooms. So, I walked up a slope of a ride into the first hallway. It was hard to get to the doors because of the decorations. Plus, there were other students seeking to find their classrooms. I couldn't find my class. Many others were struggling just like me. So, I started to get confused, frustrated, and anxious. I tried walking through another ride into another hallway, but still that did not work. I couldn't find where I needed to be. By this point, I realized class would be over half over. I should head back to my room, get my schedule, and then I would know definitely where I am to be. So, I walked back through the carnival atmosphere and headed to my room. I then thought, "What if they changed my dorm around also?" But a sense of peace started to come back to me as I knew I would soon have my schedule.
That ended my dream.
How did you interpret my dream?
I understood it to mean that I need my schedule, which is my instructions or guidebook for life. Without it life can be confusing, especially since our culture is set up in a carnival like atmosphere. Our entertainment culture makes it so hard to know where you are going, especially without your schedule (your guide.) So, God was reminding me to take and follow the directions of the guide (Word of God or Holy Spirit) he has given me wherever I go. If not, life will be confusing.
